This
war-era car was built in March 1941. We purchased it at the Knox
& Kane auction. We were lucky enough to out-bid a scrapper.
Otherwise, this car was destined to become razor blades!

Below
is a photo from the Bill Lane collection of what G29d's looked like
with steel sides. I plan on restoring it by re-installing the diagonal
braces and the wood sides and wood floor. During World War II, wood
was used to save steel for the war effort.
